As a long-standing equestrian facility in Metro Vancouver, Riverside has supported our community with access to classical equestrian riding and sponsored high profile events.
Over the past 40 years, Riverside has hosted the National Special Olympics, the Richmond Therapeutic Equestrian Society, and an Equine Canada National Symposium. Specific to showjumping, Riverside also hosted major competitions and world class clinics with renowned trainers such and Canadian Olympic coach, Michel Vaillancourt, and Olympic medalist, Michael Matz.
As a center for equestrian training, Riverside bred and trained several Grand Prix horses and has developed many equestrian hopefuls to become provincial and national champions.
Most proudly, Riverside has been a welcoming and supportive environment that has contributed to the wellness and growth of thousands of individuals for more than a generation.
